Bookings & Cancellations Policy

Payment Terms

For Fixed Departure Dates bookings, full payment is required at the time of booking, unless the "Book Now in certain amount & Pay Later" option is available for the specific tour.

For customized packages and tours outside Fixed Departure Dates/Group Tours, we typically request a 50% deposit upfront to cover part of our booking costs, with the remaining 50% due 45 days before the trip commences.

You may proceed with the booking online using our secure payment gateway, offering options such as UPI, Debit/Credit Card, and EMI (where available).

Alternatively, we accept payments via Online Bank Transfer. Details will be provided upon tour selection.

While the initial booking amount must be paid online, the remaining 50% can be settled in cash if necessary. We also accept gratuities in cash.

Please note that any additional charges arising from online transfers will be the responsibility of the customer.

Booking Policy

When registering for a tour with TGITC, you enter into a legal Tour Contract. The registration becomes effective only upon our written confirmation.

You can book your tour by paying the booking amount specified on the tour page. The balance is due 45 days before the tour's start date. Failure to pay the balance on time may result in booking cancellation, with any advance payments forfeited.

If you need to cancel your booking, refunds will be issued according to the following schedule. You may also transfer your booking to another person up to 60 days before the tour's start date.

  • Denied entry into India or failure to arrive at the specified time and date of the tour will result in non-refundable amounts.

  • If you fail to complete the tour for any reason, you will be responsible for your own arrangements at your expense.

Force Majeure

TGITC will be released from obligations under the Tour Contract if the tour is canceled due to Force Majeure, including events beyond our control such as natural disasters or political unrest. We reserve the right to change the itinerary or tour route in such cases.

If we cancel a tour due to Force Majeure, we will try to offer an alternate tour or provide a refund of all amounts paid by the participant. However, we will not be liable for any incidental expenses incurred by the participant.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Cancellation policies vary depending on the timing of cancellation:

  • Cancellation 45 days before trip commencement: 10% of the booking amount will be retained.

  • Cancellation within 30 to 45 days before trip commencement: 20% of the booking amount will be retained.

  • Cancellation within 30 days of trip commencement: 50% of the booking amount will be retained.

  • Cancellation during the tour: 100% of the amount will be forfeited.

Please note that any payment gateway/bank charges will be deducted from the refund amount.
